Do you use wifi at home, but feel that your signal is often weak? You may not be getting the most out of your network because of overlap with your neighbors network. Wifi Analyzer for Android can help find the best channel possible by showing you exactly what channel you're on, and those being used around you.

So if you're using channel 1 and you have two neighbors on the same channel this can hinder your network performance (in the example above you would want to switch your channel to anything between 9 and 12 in your router settings). Simply switch to another channel that's not in use and your mbps should improve when connecting to your wireless network. The video below gives you a good and brief explanation of how Wifi Analyzer works.

Hi A.T.
I must be one of the few people in this country who doesn’t have a smart phone. I’ve been thinking of getting one and have asked some people which phone is best; some say iphone and some say android.
Hopefully, next year this will be in my budget to purchase. Thanks for the good info here. Sally

Nice to see you again Sally. If you are really looking for an inexpensive smart phone the HTC Inspire with a plan is $99 bucks. I believe its the most affordable Android out right now.
